Merhnaz Davidson (Counsellor, MPCC)
Life has a way of bringing us to unexpected crossroads. Sometimes change arrives quietly; other times it shakes the very ground beneath us.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, immigration, loss, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, you may be carrying burdens that feel heavy and lonely. If that's where you find yourself today, I want you to know that you don't have to carry them alone.

Therapeutic Focus
Trauma and Trauma Informed-Counselling
Trauma can continue to affect the body, mind, relationships, and sense of safety long after an experience has passed. Counselling can support you in processing difficult experiences and rebuilding safety, stability, and connection.
Grief and Loss
Grief is deeply personal and can follow many kinds of loss and/or anticipated loss including the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or a significant life change. Counselling provides a supportive space to process your loss and find your way forward.
Substance Use
Whether you are struggling with substance use yourself or supporting a loved one, counselling can provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space for understanding patterns, building healthier coping strategies, and creating change. This is also an area of particular focus in my work with youth.
A Counselling Approach That Starts With You
Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, substance use, grief, relationship challenges, or the complexities of immigration and cultural identity, we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you.
I draw from evidence-based approaches—including Person-Centered Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices—to tailor counselling to your experiences, strengths, culture, and goals.
My goal is to create a counselling process that feels safe, collaborative, and meaningful—so you can better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and move toward the changes you want to make.
Immigration and Life Transition
Adjusting to a new country, culture, language, or stage of life can bring stress, uncertainty, and a sense of disconnection. Counselling offers a culturally sensitive space to navigate change, identity, belonging, and adaptation.
