Loss and Grief
Loss and grief can take many forms. It may be the death of someone you love, the end of a relationship, a major financial loss, the loss of a job, a change in health, a move away from home, or the quiet loss of a future you imagined for yourself. Sometimes grief is obvious, and other times it shows up in ways that are harder to understand, such as numbness, anger, anxiety, guilt, loneliness, or feeling unlike yourself. Whatever your loss looks like, and however you are experiencing it, counselling can give you a safe and compassionate space to explore what has changed, what still hurts, and what you need now. Together, we can work toward helping you feel more grounded, supported, and connected to the empowered version of yourself as you move through this difficult chapter.
A Counselling Approach That Starts With You
Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, substance use, grief, relationship challenges, or the complexities of immigration and cultural identity, we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you.
I draw from evidence-based approaches—including Person-Centered Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices—to tailor counselling to your experiences, strengths, culture, and goals.
My goal is to create a counselling process that feels safe, collaborative, and meaningful—so you can better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and move toward the changes you want to make.
